I know all too well how grief and unexpected, and TOUGH, journeys can bog down your brain in a way that is all-consuming and exhausting. I’ll never forget wanting to hold something in my hand, that would allow my brain a moment to disconnect but a book was WAY off limits for my attention span. [hello trauma, fight or flight mode] A magazine hit the spot in all the right and helpful ways. It let my mind get into something “else” for 7 minutes at a time, and it also let me set down my phone and the doom scroll.
I am collecting an array of words, stories, art, photography, travel inspiration, EASY recipes, and more to feature in this exciting endeavor… a helpful hug for the exhausted and bogged down heart.
